Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos and more

separator

What a game that was played Sunday afternoon! It was probably one of the better matchups of week twelve in the NFL. The Denver Broncos thought they had the game won. However, the Bears had other plans. The Broncos looked like they were going to put another blemish on the Bears home record and more importantly they were trying to virtually put the Bears out of the playoff hunt. The Bears played their hearts out for the whole entire game. It’s bad for the Broncos because they have lost many games in dramatic fashion.

Soldier Field in Chicago was very slippery and that’s not an excuse for the dropped balls and the lack of rushing when players would have picked up some extra yards. Every time the players ran with long strides, they slipped. That’s the reason they started taking shorter steps. There would have probably been about a hundred more yards scored if the field had not been as slippery.

There were several times during the game that Soldier Field exploded with noise. The camera views showed fans jumping up and down and yelling as Devin Hester returned a kickoff return and a punt return in the same quarter. That’s enough to get any fan base to get deafening loud. Even with the Bears poor record, they are still in the playoff hunt with a win today against the Broncos. Many Bears fans said they would support the team no matter what their season record was. They say they will come with Chicago Bears gear and so far, many have lived up to their promise.

Next week the Chicago Bears have to face another playoff contending team. The New York Giants want to continue their quest in getting a playoff berth but the Bears have something to say about that. With the Giants losing their game today, it is sure that when they come to the Bears they will be prepared.
